Things to know

Information on how things work on the campsite

The campsite is open from 9 May until 12 September.  Reception is open from 8.30am to 13.30pm and 14.30pm to 8.00pm.  The bar is open from 11am to 10pm.  Take away food service and pizzas (pre-order) available from 6.30pm to 8pm.  Our small shop is open whenever there is someone around and there is a bread and pastry service in the morning (order the night before)

Arrival times

Your camping pitch will be available from 12 midday on the day of arrival.  Please vacate your pitch by 11.30am on the day of departure.  Rental accommodation is available from 3pm and you should vacate your rental by 10am on the day of departure.  Vehicles are not allowed to drive on the campsite after 10pm and should be parked at the entrance to the campsite.

There is a Wifi network covering 3/4 of the campsite.  The price is 2€ per day for 2 appliances.  5€ per week for 2 appliances.  10€ per week for 3+ appliances.  Alternatively you may have one hour free Wifi for consumption at the bar.  As we are in a very rural position, the bandwidth for the Wifi is great for messaging, browsing the internet or reading your news, but will not cope with large file downloads, videos or on-line gaming.  We thank you for your understanding

Swimming pools

The swimming pools are open from 11am to 7pm for everyone.  From 7.30pm to 9pm they are reserved for adults of 18+.  To comply with the rule of the local authorities, only swimming trunks are permitted in the pool.  No beach bathers (shorts) or bermudas please.  The pools are unsupervised so children who are less than 12 years old are not allowed in the pool without a responsible person of 16+ years.

You may have a charcoal BBQ on your pitch.  (The electricity supply is not powerful enough for an electric one).  For the safety of all, please ensure you follow the guidelines posted around the campsite.  Your BBQ should stand at least 60cm above the ground, you should use charcoal only and you should have water nearby in case of need.  There is a communal BBQ area with a large BBQ and chimney.  Please reserve at reception.

Small camping fridges are available to hire at 25€ per week (plus electrical connection charge).  There is also a communal fridge in the BBQ area.  It is free for your use but you must not store alcoholic drinks in the fridge.  The freezer dept is for the ice blocks only.  Any food or water bottles will be removed from the freezer.

Dogs are very welcome on the campsite.  The max per pitch is 2 and the charge is 2€ per day.  They must be kept on a lead and be vaccinated and chipped.  Obviously, owners are requested to clean up after them.  Other animals (cats, donkeys, horses etc) may be welcomed on request.  We do have a grazing field but it would need to be prepared in advance.

Please read the safety guidelines posted around the campsite and make note of your nearest escape routes.

In order to maintain the peace and tranquility of the our beautiful campsite, the services and games room will be closed at 10pm.  The childrens play area is closed at 9.30pm.  We respectfully ask that you observe this quiet time between 10pm and 8am.  We also respectfully ask that you limit your driving speed on the campsite to 10km per hour (8mph).  This is for the safety and respect of your fellow campers.  Please take note of the campsite regulations posted at the entrance to the campsite and in the reception area.
